LockInfo is an application that provides access to information on the lock screen of jailbroken iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. There are a few weather plugins for LockInfo but they use the yahoo weather service which is notoriously inaccurate for Australian weather compared to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). BOM LockInfo Weather provides a way to have accurate Bureau of Meteorology weather information on your lock screen. Some sample images are displayed below.
To set up BOM LockInfo Weather select a weather location below. You can also optionally select the Forecast Location, Radars and Summary Line information if the defaults aren't appropriate. Then copy the url below and paste it into the Feeds section under RSS Feeds. The BOM Weather should now show up on your lock screen.
BOM LockInfo Weather is currently in beta so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. For feedback or issues please contact me at proxydata@rdharris.org.
